Farm operations disrupted due to pandemic; relocation to Kissimmee in December
EcoLove Lawncare launched
EcoLove Nursery & Farm LLC officially established (locally + Trinidad)
At EcoLove Nursery and Farm LLC, our journey began in the heart of Trinidad back in 2019, where our shared love for soil health and ethical farming practices bloomed into a shared vision. Driven by a deep-rooted passion for growing chemical-free food, our quest for knowledge led us to explore the intricacies of soil life, guided by esteemed mentors such as Dr. Elaine Ingram with The Soil Food Web Academy, Master Cho with Korean Natural Farming, and multiple classes and workshops with the Ministry of Agriculture of Trinidad and Tobago.
Tending to our 3-acre farm, we sowed by seed over 1500 pigeon pea trees in 2019, embracing their natural nitrogen-fixing properties with each careful placement, devoid of harmful chemicals. Witnessing the hand-picked fruits of our labor in the form of 60lbs of fresh green peas in January 2020 ignited a sense of pride and accomplishment, despite the unexpected curveball that the global pandemic threw our way in March 2020, leading to a temporary disruption as Trinidad and Tobago closed its borders.
In December 2020, while navigating uncertain times, we found solace in a new beginning as we relocated to the Kissimmee area, embracing fresh opportunities and kindling our passion for the land. The birth of EcoLove Lawncare in July 2022 marked a significant milestone, expanding our devotion to plant care and landscaping.
We were blessed in April 2024, EcoLove Nursery and Farm LLC came to life locally and in Trinidad. We are once again able to embody our collective dream of cultivating ethical, sustainable, and regenerative farming practices while proudly serving our community.
